Dr. Ashley Hershberger
PhD, LPC, NCC, CCTP, CTRS
Ashley completed her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2023. Ashley completed a Master's Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling in 2016 and a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management, concentrating in Therapeutic Recreation from LHU in 2011. Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). She has extra training in Trauma Art Narrative Training Level 1.
Ashley engages in outpatient mental health counseling. Ashley is an adjunct professor with a focus in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling and engages in clinical supervision for licensed professional counselors.

I am a mental health professional with advanced training in both clinical counseling and organizational leadership. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2020 and completed my Doctorate in Psychology with a focus on Leadership and Management in 2024.
As a counselor, I provide mental health counseling services to individuals seeking support with emotional wellness, personal growth, and life challenges. I take a client-centered approach that honors each person’s unique experiences while working collaboratively toward meaningful and sustainable change. In addition to clinical counseling, I offer consulting services for leaders, managers, and organizations. Drawing from my doctoral training in leadership and management, I
support individuals and teams in developing healthy leadership practices, improving communication, managing stress and burnout, and fostering positive workplace cultures.
My goal is to help individuals thrive—both personally and professionally—by integrating psychological insight, practical strategies, and compassionate support.
